What kind of stuff will you do in your spanish shows ? Which is your last album?, last one I have is Shadow dancer
- Will perform 2 to 3 songs from each record... (2+ hours). Last album was "Panther Phobia" in 2000.

Do you see yourself as a any kind of godfather or source of inspiration for bands like Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Southern Culture on the Skids, Gories or Rocket Form The Crypt?
- There is no band before or since like the Unapproachable PANTHER BURNS.

What do you think about the current revival of American roots music ?
- I do not like the term "roots" music....

When and how do you started playing and making music in Memphis ?
- 1978 at the Orpheum Theatre on Beale Street where i destroyed a electric guitar with a chainsaw on stage.

Why was Alex Chilton so impressed by you in the early days?
- Because i was a man in the midst of a swarm of wimps... a man of the underground.

He has became a cult figure like you, does that undergroud reputation give you more artistic freedom?
- freedom can only come from within, not by external reputation or legend.

Do you still suport the underground scene in Memphis? any interesting discovery ?
- If I am not a product of the Memphis underground, then who is...? Memphis will always be a place for innovation.
